CELEBRATE WITH US IN BALTIMORE

Justine and Zach met on June 11th, 2011, at One Eyed Mikes in Fells Point. Zach asked Justine if she liked fun, she said, “Yes!” and the rest is history.

Since then, we’ve been having all kinds of fun, starting with our first official date where we saw Florence + the Machine open for U2. We’ve attended Orioles games, music festivals together and gone on plenty of camping trips to Deep Mountain. We’ve had the opportunity to travel, work together professionally, play DJ sets, savor Saturday morning Irish coffees, buy a home on Bear Creek, snowboard in deep powder, host parties, and enjoy the simple things in life. We’re excited to share just a few of the FUN things we love with YOU during this casual and *hopefully* low-stress celebration weekend.

Orioles game centerfield bar meetup

Location: Oriole Park At Camden Yards

Time: Arrive at 6pm / First pitch at 7:05pm
Attire: Casual / Orioles Attire

Join us for a meetup at the Orioles Game on Friday, September 15th, where they’ll take on the Tampa Bay Rays. We will be purchasing tickets for family members and we’re asking friends to purchase their own tickets. We’ll be hanging in the Center Field Bar during the game, so we recommend buying a cheap upper deck ticket. Please use the appropriate button below to let us know if you’re coming.

Family & Friends Celebration

Attire: Sunset Celebration Attire

Join us for a golden hour celebration with our closest family and friends at our home on Bear Creek. Expect light food, drinks, awesome music, and delightful surprises throughout. At sunset, we’ll commemorate our first year of marriage in true Burning Man fashion. Then, we’ll continue the festivities at One-Eyed Mikes in Fells Point.

FAQs

What should I wear to the game on Friday night?

Wear what you dig!! It’s a baseball game, so wear something casual and comfortable. Bonus points if you have Orioles attire or something black and orange.

How do I get my ticket to the Orioles game?

Family members – Please RSVP here and we will secure tickets for you. These tickets will be delivered to you digitally.

Friends – We’re asking that you buy your own ticket to the game, and recommend buying an inexpensive upper deck ticket, since we will be meeting up and watching the game together in the Center Field Bar.

Why are you handling the tickets this way?

This unique format for the game allows us to extend the invitation to a larger group, giving us the opportunity to include more of our friends in the weekend’s festivities.

Friends are more than welcome to bring their kids and additional friends to the game; however, it’s important to note that each friend-attendee will need to purchase their own ticket.

Who is invited to the Saturday celebration? Can I bring my kids?

On Saturday, we cordially invite you and your spouse or partner to join us for the celebration. Taking into consideration the capacity limits of our backyard venue, we have specifically extended the invitation to our nieces and nephews; However, we kindly request that all other guests arrange childcare and leave the kids safely at home for this particular event.

What should I wear to the celebration on Saturday?

We’re calling the dress code “Sunset Celebration Attire.” We suggest dressing in bright and lively outfits that exude style and FUN, capturing the spirit of our sunset wedding at Burning Man with a dressy casual tone. Plan for a balance of style and comfort (you will be walking/standing on grass) for a relaxed and joyful outdoor celebration.

Do I need to stay overnight? Where should I stay?

We want you to do what feels right for you! There aren’t many hotels or Airbnbs near our house, so don’t look for one there. If you’re coming from out of town, we recommend staying somewhere in Fells Point or Harbor East which will put you right in the center of the weekend’s activities. You will be close to the Orioles game on Friday and close to your hotel when we go out in Fells Point after the Saturday night celebration.

How should I get to the Saturday evening celebration?

We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft (especially if you plan on drinking) because there is limited parking at our home. Those spots will be reserved for vendors and guest with accessibility needs.

If you still prefer to drive, there is ample parking nearby at Battle Grove Elementary School.

I’m not sure if I can come yet, what should I do?

That’s okay – still fill out the RSVP with a maybe if you’re thinking you might be able to swing it, and we’ll follow up with you when the date gets closer.

We’d love to have you for all or just part of the weekend, but totally understand if you have prior commitments. We’ve been trying to figure out two places at once, and the technology just isn’t there yet!
